IIT Kharagpur students secured more than 760 offers, including Pre-Placement Offers (PPOs), on the first day of the placement session for the 2022-23 academic year. All the big corporations from various industries were present in good numbers at the institute, and 16 international offers were accepted on Day 1—the largest package was more than Rs 2.6 crore CTC.
IIT Kharagpur's placement session 2022-23 (Phase-I), which began on December 1, 2022, excelled in both the hybrid and physical modes thanks to the fervent support of the students and the employers.
COMPANIES AND JOB PROFILES
A total of 34 businesses, including Apple, Airbus, Alphagrep, Capital One, EXL Services, Google, Graviton, Microsoft, Rubrik, Square Point, etc., took part in the placement process.
On the first day of the placement session, the students had access to more than 70 job profiles. The IIT Kharagpur students had access to a wide range of profiles in software, analytics, finance, technology, consulting, and core.
INTERNSHIP OFFERS
This year, IIT Kharagpur has received over 800 internship offers. This year's IIT KGP internship selection process attracted more than 140 businesses from a variety of industries, including software, analytics, consulting, finance, and banking, which suggests a promising start to the next season.
The IIT Kharagpur students have received substantial international and alluring domestic offers from numerous firms in the context of the global market environment.
The Chairman of the CDC, Professor A Rajakumar, congratulated all the students on their accomplishments and thanked the participating recruiters for their close relationship with IIT Kharagpur.
