The Recycler Folder virus is a computer parasite that spreads itself via removable media such as USB flash memory cards or drives. Once inside your computer, this virus can disable your anti-virus software, block access to computer protection websites, generate numerous pop-ups and significantly slow down your computer's speed. In addition, the Recycler Folder virus can redirect your browser searches and slow down the Internet connection speed. Remove this dangerous virus immediately to prevent further damage.
Instructions for process
- Click the "Processes" tab in the Task Manager's window and select "ctfmon.exe."
Click "End Process" at the bottom of the window and close the Task Manager.
Go to the "Start" menu, type "regedit" in the "Start Search" box and hit "Enter" to start

Browse to and delete the following registry entry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Active Setup\Installed Components\ {08B0E5C0-4FCB-11CF-AAX5-90401C608512}
- Close the Registry Editor.
Go to the "Start" menu, type "ctfmon.exe" in the "Start Search" box and hit "Enter."
