Computer gaming has come a very long way from two paddles and a ball, on a black and white screen, to complete virtual worlds; in depth characters that immerse you in detail, and pull you out of reality just enough to make you feel like a kid again....assuming you're not a kid!
So many breakthroughs have been made with computers in the last 15 years, and game developers have not been very far behind utilizing these breakthroughs. Many of the great games of the past, and some pretty cool new ones, are available for free on the Internet, but finding them is the issue.
The Internet is full of websites claiming free this, and free that when it comes to downloading "free" games. However, the reality behind it is you are only downloading a trial version, and will be asked to pay after a certain amount of tim. Some of the trial versions even stop working once the time period is up.....so, lets go hunting for some sites that are the real deal:

- The majority of the links appear to go to the games developer site for download so safety from viruses is about as good as it gets, but as always tread carefully...this IS the Internet.

- Games are divided up by genre, and easily located.
- 136 Listed free full game downloads.
- About the same amount of free online games listed as well.
- Tons of free premium full game downloads.
- Plenty of free full game downloads.
- Kid friendly games and site.
- Hundreds of premium games available; some however are demo's, or trials, so keep your eyes peeled when downloading.
- This site has been up and running for over 9 years; can't get more trustworthy than that.
- Doesn't seem to be much in the way of free games, but they do however offer 1 sponsored free full game download per day.
