AIEEE

The AIEEE is the exam that opens the door to almost all the prestigious colleges of the country. It is a conducted by CBSE and thus, no one can point a finger on the authenticity of the exam. The exam consists of three sections, that is, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. All papers consist of multiple choice questions and the examinee needs to choose the correct option from the four options that have been mentioned. The examination is invariable held on the last Sunday of April.

BVPEEE

BVPEEE or Bhartiya VidhyaPeeth Engineering Entrance Exam is another exam that must be taken by Engineering aspirants. The exam is slightly different from the other engineering entrance exams that are present as there are 200 questions that are present and the examinee is questioned on two subjects only, that is Physics and Mathematics. They are objective type questions and are based on the topics that the students have learnt in class 12. Clearing the exam will get you an admission in a college that is affiliated to BVP.

COMEDK UGET

Consortium of Medical Engineering Dental Colleges of Karnataka Under Graduate Entrance Test (COMEDK UGET) is an exam that is held for the students who are looking to enter the engineering colleges that are present in Karnataka. There are medical and engineering exams that are held and the only difference lies in the choice between the Biology and Mathematics paper. This is also an objective paper and the forms for the exam are available online.

EAMCET

Engineering Agriculture and Medicine Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) is held in Hyderabad and it makes the student eligible for admission in the top colleges of Andhra Pradesh. There are a total of 160 exams that the examinee needs to answer and they are based on Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. You need to score atleast 40% in the exam to clear the test.

Goa CET

The Goa CET is an engineering exam that enables the student to get an admission in the engineering colleges of Goa, if he/she clears this exam. This exam is conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education under the government of Goa. The subjects that the student is tested on are Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The scores of the exam are accepted by the government as well as private colleges of Goa.

MHT CET

MHCET or Maharashtra CET is an exam that will make the student eligible for admission in any of the 155 universities that are situated in the state of Maharashtra. Engineering aspirants need to appear for three papers, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Physics and Chemistry are 50 marks each, while Mathematics is a 100 mark paper. The examinee needs to have at least needs to have 45% marks in Class 12th and must have cleared the AIEEE as well.

Orissa JEE

The Orissa JEE is in its initial stages as there are not many engineering colleges that are present in the state, but they are all very reputed ones. Gradually, colleges across the state are accepting the scores that a candidate gets in this examination. To be eligible for the exam you need to have passed your 12th from CHSE board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Thus, the examination is not open to everyone.

WBJEE

This is another one of the prestigious exams for engineering. It is conducted by the government of West Bengal and the paper consists of multiple choice questions and short answer type as well. The exam scores are accepted by almost all the colleges that are present in West Bengal and the candidate appearing for the examination must be between 17 and 24 years of age.

KIITEE

Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology is affiliated by the government of India and there are certain prerequisites for the student to be eligible for the exam. The most important of them, is that the student who wishes to appear in the examination must have at least 60% marks in his/her 12th and must have Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in 12th. Also, the student must be born on the 1st of July 1990 or later.

AEE (Amrita Engineering Entrance)

This test will enable to candidate to get admission in the colleges that are situated in Amritapuri, Bengaluru and Coimbatore. The test only gives eligibility for entrance in the colleges that are affiliated to Amrita University, which is now one of the most reputed universities in the country. The examination is objective type and the student is tested in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

Banasthali Vidyapeeth Entrance Test

This examination will enable the students to seek admission in the colleges that are affiliated to Banasthali Vidhyapeeth. The exam is known to be quite tough and the exam is open only to women. The student must be living in the hostel that is present in the campus once she has taken admission in the college. Apart from that the student must have scored 60% in the 12th board to be eligible to appear for this examination.
